What is WUBRG FEST?
WUBRG FEST is a three-day Magic: The Gathering-inspired festival weekend inside Schloss Boitzenburg, a historic castle near Berlin. The festival is built around open Commander tables, Draft and Sealed events, special formats, artists, music, side activities, food, accommodation, and time to explore the castle throughout the weekend.

Where does WUBRG FEST take place?
WUBRG FEST takes place at Schloss Boitzenburg, located in the Uckermark region of Brandenburg, north of Berlin. The castle, its halls, rooms, food areas, accommodation, and atmosphere are all part of the festival experience.

Is WUBRG FEST an official Magic: The Gathering event?
WUBRG FEST is an independent fan-organized event. It is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored, or approved by Wizards of the Coast. Magic: The Gathering, MTG, and related terms are trademarks of Wizards of the Coast LLC.

Can I come alone?
Yes. You can come alone. The festival is designed so guests can join games, open Commander tables, side activities, meals, and shared festival spaces throughout the weekend. You do not need to arrive with a full group to take part.

Tickets & Booking


Are tickets available now?
Not yet. Ticket sales will open later. Full prices, booking steps, room categories, event sign-up information, and final package details will be published before ticket sales begin.

How will booking work?
Your WUBRG FEST booking will combine two parts: your Festival Pass and your all-inclusive stay option. The Festival Pass gives you access to the festival areas, open Commander tables, artist zone, side activities, selected program moments, and the general weekend experience. The all-inclusive stay option is selected by room category and includes accommodation, breakfast, light lunch, dinner, snacks, and drinks throughout the festival weekend.

What is included in the Festival Pass?
The Festival Pass includes access to the main WUBRG FEST festival areas, open Commander tables, artist zone, Magic Discovery Room, general program, side activities, and selected festival moments. The Regular Festival Pass is planned to include one Limited Hall event ticket. Final pass details will be confirmed before ticket sales open.

What is included in the all-inclusive stay?
The all-inclusive stay includes your accommodation at Schloss Boitzenburg, breakfast, light lunch, dinner, snacks, and included drinks throughout the festival weekend. Alcoholic drinks from the separate bar are not included and can be purchased separately.

Accommodation


Is accommodation included?
Accommodation is included as part of the all-inclusive stay option selected during booking. Each room category includes the full all-inclusive stay package: accommodation, breakfast, light lunch, dinner, snacks, and included drinks throughout the festival weekend.

What room categories will be available?
The planned room categories are Castle Group Rooms, Castle Comfort Rooms, and Castle Hotel Rooms. Each category offers a different style of stay, from group-friendly castle rooms to more classic hotel-style rooms.

What are Castle Group Rooms?
Castle Group Rooms are designed for friends, playgroups, and guests booking together. They include bunk beds, and some rooms also have upper sleeping levels, giving them a fun castle-adventure feeling that fits naturally with the festival weekend.

Will I have to share a room with strangers?
The Castle Group Rooms are intended for friends, playgroups, and guests booking together. More details about room assignment, roommate requests, and group bookings will be explained before ticket sales open.

Food & Drinks

Is food included?
Yes. Food is included as part of the all-inclusive stay. Breakfast and dinner will be served in the castle food hall. During the day, a light lunch with sandwiches and soup will also be available.

Are snacks included?
Yes. A snack area will be available throughout the festival near the main event spaces. The planned snack selection includes options such as fruit, cakes, salty snacks, chips, peanuts, and other small bites during the weekend.

Are drinks included?
Yes. Included drinks will be available throughout the festival near the main event areas. You can come by and take drinks as often as you need during the weekend without paying separately each time. The planned drink selection includes soft drinks, coffee, tea, water, and juices.

Are alcoholic drinks included?
No. Alcoholic drinks are not included in the all-inclusive stay. A separate bar with alcoholic drinks is planned to be open from the afternoon into the night. Drinks from the bar can be purchased separately.

Will there be vegetarian and vegan options?
Yes. Many vegetarian and vegan options are planned for the weekend. More exact food information, dietary details, and allergen information will be shared before the festival.

Events & Gameplay

What kind of events will there be?
WUBRG FEST will include open Commander tables, Draft and Sealed events, special limited formats, Pauper, Commander-related activities, Commander Cosplay Night, the Magic Discovery Room, the Music Evening, and smaller side activities.

Will there be open Commander tables?
Yes. Open Commander tables will be available throughout the weekend. You can bring your decks, find a table, join a pod, and play at your own pace.

Will there be Draft and Sealed events?
Yes. Draft and Sealed events will be part of the Limited Hall program. You can expect a mix of carefully selected sets, special draft formats, casual Sealed events, collector-style drafts, nostalgic sets, and other limited experiences.

What is the difference between Regular and VIP / Supporter?
The Regular Festival Pass includes one Limited Hall event ticket. The VIP / Supporter Festival Pass will include either two Limited Hall event tickets or one selected exclusive event experience, depending on final event availability, pricing, and structure. Full details will be confirmed before ticket sales open.

Travel & Arrival

How do I reach Schloss Boitzenburg by car?
The easiest way to reach Schloss Boitzenburg is by car. From Berlin, the drive usually takes around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on route and traffic. Free parking is available at the castle for WUBRG FEST guests. Exact arrival and check-in details will be shared before the festival.

Can I come by train?
Yes. If you travel by train, the best option will usually be to travel to Prenzlau or Templin. From there, WUBRG FEST is planning a festival shuttle/taxi service to bring guests from the station directly to Schloss Boitzenburg.

Will there be a shuttle service?
Yes, a shuttle/taxi service from a nearby train station is planned. The exact station, pickup point, schedule, booking process, and arrival windows will be announced closer to the event.

Accessibility

Is the venue accessible?
The main festival areas at Schloss Boitzenburg are planned to be accessible, and the main halls can be reached by elevator. Because Schloss Boitzenburg is a historic castle, some areas may still include stairs, older pathways, uneven surfaces, or room layouts that are different from modern event venues.

What should I do if I have accessibility needs?
Please contact us before booking if you have specific accessibility needs. We will do our best to help you understand which areas are accessible, what to expect during the weekend, and which room category may fit your stay best.

Will there be a shuttle service?

Is there a Code of Conduct?
Yes. WUBRG FEST has a Code of Conduct. All guests, artists, partners, staff, volunteers, and organizers are expected to treat others with respect, respect boundaries, play fairly, care for the castle, and follow staff instructions.

Do I need to follow the Code of Conduct and safety rules?
Yes. Every guest must follow the WUBRG FEST Code of Conduct and safety rules. By attending, you agree to respect personal boundaries, follow staff instructions, care for the castle and shared spaces, and help keep the weekend safe for everyone.

How do I report a problem?
If you experience or witness harassment, unsafe behavior, theft, serious conflict, or anything that makes you uncomfortable, please contact a member of the WUBRG FEST team. More detailed on-site reporting information will be shared before the festival.

Is all information final?
No. Some details are still being finalized. The website will be updated as ticket sales, room booking, event schedules, travel information, and partner details are confirmed.
