Plan Your Festival

Your Weekend at Schloss Boitzenburg

WUBRG FEST is designed as a full weekend stay inside Schloss Boitzenburg. Your booking combines your Festival Pass with your all-inclusive stay option, so the main parts of the weekend are planned together: games, events, accommodation, meals, snacks, drinks, and time to explore the castle.

Bring your decks, settle into your room, and enjoy the weekend without needing to leave the festival grounds.

More detailed information will be added as ticket sales, room booking, and the event schedule are finalized.

Festival Access

Your Festival Pass gives you access to the main WUBRG FEST areas and the general weekend program.

This includes open Commander tables, the Artist Zone, the Magic Discovery Room, Commander Cosplay Night, the music evening, selected side activities, and access to the main festival rooms and halls.

Drafts, Sealed events, special limited formats, and some selected activities may require separate sign-up or an additional event fee. Details will be shown clearly on the Events page before ticket sales open.

Accommodation

Accommodation is selected together with your Festival Pass during the booking process. You will be able to choose the room category that fits your group and your preferred way to stay at the castle, depending on availability.

Castle Group Rooms
For friends, playgroups, and guests booking together. These rooms offer a fun group-stay feeling with bunk beds and upper sleeping levels in some rooms.

Castle Comfort Rooms
For small groups, couples with friends, or guests who want a more comfortable group setup. These rooms include a double bed and additional sleeping space on an upper level.

Castle Hotel Rooms
For guests who prefer a classic, quieter, and more private stay. These rooms offer a traditional castle-hotel feeling while still keeping you close to the main festival areas.

If you are coming with friends or a playgroup, we recommend planning together before booking so you can choose the best room category for your group.

Food, Snacks & Drinks

Food and drinks are part of the all-inclusive stay.

Breakfast and dinner will be served in the castle food hall. During the day, a light lunch with sandwiches and soup will also be available in the food hall.

A snacks and drinks area will be available throughout the festival near the main event spaces. You can come by, grab something, recharge, and return to the tables whenever you need.

The planned drinks selection includes water, coffee, tea, soft drinks, and juices. Many vegetarian and vegan options will be available during the weekend. More exact food and dietary details will be shared before the festival.

How to Reach the Castle

Schloss Boitzenburg is located in the Uckermark region of Brandenburg, north of Berlin.

Arriving by car
The easiest way to reach Schloss Boitzenburg is by car. From Berlin, the drive usually takes around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on route and traffic. Parking and arrival details will be shared before the festival.

Arriving by train
If you are travelling by train, the best option will usually be to travel to Prenzlau or Templin.

From there, WUBRG FEST is planning a festival shuttle/taxi service to bring guests from the station directly to Schloss Boitzenburg. The exact pickup station, meeting point, shuttle times, and booking process will be announced closer to the event.

Regional bus connections
Boitzenburg is also connected by regional bus routes from the surrounding area. Because local bus schedules may be limited, we recommend using the festival shuttle/taxi option if you are arriving by train.

Events & Sign-Ups

The full event lineup will be available on the Events page.

Across the weekend, you can expect open Commander tables, Draft and Sealed events, special limited formats, Pauper, Commander-related activities, Commander Cosplay Night, the Magic Discovery Room, music evening, and smaller side activities.

Selected Draft and Sealed events will be available for online sign-up in advance. Some on-demand events and additional formats may also be available on site, depending on availability.

If you want to plan your weekend ahead of time, the Events page will be the best place to start.

Explore the Events page and choose how you want to play.

Arrival & Check-In

Arrival and check-in details will be published closer to the festival.

Before the event, you will receive clear information about arrival times, check-in location, room access, parking, shuttle/taxi pickup, and where to go first when you arrive at Schloss Boitzenburg.

We recommend planning your arrival early enough to settle in, explore the castle, and join the first parts of the weekend without stress.

What to Bring

Bring what you need for a full weekend of Magic and castle life.

Useful things to bring:

Decks, cards, sleeves, dice, tokens, playmats, and anything you need for Commander or trading.

Comfortable clothes for a full weekend inside and around the castle.

Cosplay or themed clothing if you want to join Commander Cosplay Night.

Personal items for your stay, including toiletries, chargers, medication, and anything you need for sleeping comfortably.

A small bag for moving around the castle during the day.

Accessibility & Comfort

The main festival areas at Schloss Boitzenburg are planned to be accessible, and the main halls can be reached by elevator.

Because Schloss Boitzenburg is a historic castle, some areas may still include stairs, older pathways, uneven surfaces, or room layouts that are different from modern event venues. For that reason, we recommend contacting us before booking if you have specific accessibility needs.

We will do our best to help you understand which areas are accessible, what to expect during the weekend, and which room category may fit your stay best.

For questions about mobility, room access, dietary needs, comfort, or any other personal requirements, please contact us before booking so we can plan together as clearly as possible.

Safety & Conduct

WUBRG FEST is built around respect, fair play, personal boundaries, and care for the castle and the people inside it.

All guests are expected to follow the Code of Conduct. This includes respectful behavior at the tables, consent around photos and cosplay, fair trading, care for shared spaces, and following staff instructions.

Please read the Code of Conduct and Safety pages before attending.

Updates Coming Soon

This page will be updated as more details are confirmed.

Upcoming updates may include exact arrival times, room booking details, food and dietary information, shuttle/taxi pickup times, parking instructions, full event schedule, and sign-up information for Drafts, Sealed events, and special formats.
